After careful consideration and a thorough evaluation of our operations, Prokura has decided to close our inhouse cutting facility as of September 30, 2023. This decision reflects our unwavering dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our customers and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
The key elements of this decision are as follows:
Transition to Pre-Cut Items: Prokura will transition a significant portion of our product offerings to pre-cut items. By sourcing the major sizes we were previously producing as pre-cut items, we aim to streamline our operations and optimize our production process.
Bespoke Items: We are no longer able to process bespoke items, however the team will be able to discuss alternative solutions with you.
Increased Stock Availability: This transition will enable Prokura to maintain higher stock levels of pre-cut items. This means our customers will have access to a wider selection of ready-to-ship products, reducing lead times and ensuring a more efficient order fulfillment process.
Cost Efficiency: By eliminating our inhouse cutting facility, we will significantly reduce operational costs. This cost-saving initiative allows us to remain competitive in the market while providing cost-effective solutions to our valued customers.
Next Day Delivery: Without the need to cut to order, Prokura are able to next day delivery.
